The rowboat was small, but it felt large enough for the world.

The ripples were fascinating.
So were the clouds and the sky.

Dad rowed on one side.
Mom rowed on the other.

The boat glided across the lake as if it knew the way on its own.

I leaned over from side to side.
I splashed water with my hands and waved to the ducks.

The boat rocked and wobbled.
It swayed but stayed on course.
